Now, I shall return to history, and go back to the beginning. I plan to do an extensive series focusing on the stories of the prophets (Qaṣaṣ al-Anbiyā) mentioned in the Quran, beginning with a few introductory lectures, and then moving on to Prophet Adam, and working our way down until the Prophet Jesus. This will be a very long series.
I plan to follow a unique methodology (as I'll explain in the introductory lectures) and aim to make this series (inshaAllah) the most comprehensive study of these stories in the English language. And as is my way, I will go down related and 'modern' issues as well, which are typically not discussed in our earlier works and bring in sources and aspects that will be of interest to the listeners.
The goal of all of these lectures is first and foremost to achieve the pleasure of Allah and then to help grow imān in our hearts and bring our people closer to their Lord, and their beautiful faith.
I ask Allah for His Divine aid and acceptance, and to make this series a benefit for me and for all those who listen to it. And I ask Him to guide all of us to that which He loves and to forgive any mistakes or errors that all humans are prone to.

After doing a number of key history-based series on the Sīrah, and Lives of the Khulafā, and Stories of the Saḥaba, I took a long break from history and did my multiple series on aspects of ourjourney to the next life (Signs of Judgment; Barzakh; Qiyāmah; Heaven and Hell).

Who is Yasir Qadhi?
Yasir Qadhi is an American Muslim scholar and writer of Pakistani descent. Since 2001, he has served as Dean of Academic Affairs at the Al-Maghrib Institute, an international Islamic educational institution with a center in Houston, Texas. He also teaches in the Religious Studies department at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, where he resides. Qadhi has written numerous books and lectured widely on Islam and contemporary Muslim issues. A 2011 The New York Times Magazine essay by Andea Elliott described Qadhi as "one of the most influential conservative clerics in American Islam."What is a Prophet?
In religion, a prophet is an individual who is regarded as being in contact with a divine being and is said to speak on that entity's behalf. They claim to be serving as an intermediary with humanity by delivering messages or teachings from the supernatural source to other people. The message that the prophet conveys is called a prophecy. In Islam, all prophetic messengers are prophets (such as Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad) though not all prophets are prophetic messengers. The primary distinction is that a prophet is required to demonstrate God's law through his actions, character, and behavior without necessarily calling people to follow him, while a prophetic messenger is required to pronounce God's law (i.e. revelation) and call his people to submit and follow him.
