Vaticanus Oldest Bible
Codex Vaticanus is regarded as the oldest extant manuscript of the Greek Bible dated to 325-350 AD. Vaticanus is named after its place of conservation in the Vatican Library. In the 19th century, Bible scholars studying the Codex Vaticanus realized the texts differed significantly from the Latin Vulgate ('Textus Receptus'). Sinaiticus Old Bible
Codex Sinaiticus is an ancient, handwritten copy of the Greek Bible dated to 330-360 AD. Discovered in 1850 by Constantin von Tischendorf, a German evolutionist theologian, at St. Catherine's Monastery at Mount Sinai. Sinaiticus is an Alexandrian text-type manuscript written on parchment. Currently stored in the British Library, London. Sinaiticus is an invaluable resource for critical studies of biblical text. King James (KJV) Popular
Published in 1611 by the Church of England, the King James Bible (KJV) is an English translation of the Christian Bible. Under King James I, 47 translators used the Textus Receptus ('Majority text') manuscripts for their English Bible. Since 1611, older, more accurate Bible manuscripts have been discovered; the Codex Sinaiticus and Vaticanus. The books of the King James Version include the 39 books of the Old Testament, an intertestamental section containing 14 books of the Apocrypha, and the 27 books of the New Testament.
