Robots will carry out half of all work tasks by 2025 but destroy millions of jobs, experts have warned.
Machines will increasingly replace humans as they take on more roles in the workplace, according to the World Economic Forum (WEF).
Manual and routine jobs in data processing and administration
are most at risk from automation, a WEF report found.
Machines currently handle around a third of work tasks - but this will change in the next five years.
The thinktank said by 2025, bosses will divide work between humans and machines equally.
But it isn't all bad news, as researchers claimed the "robot revolution" would create 97million jobs around the world in tech industries.
