What is Egypt?

Egypt, officially the Arab Republic of Egypt, is a country spanning the northeast corner of Africa and southwest corner of Asia by a land bridge formed by the Sinai Peninsula. Egypt is a Mediterranean country bordered by the Gaza Strip and Israel to the northeast, the Gulf of Aqaba and the Red Sea

The Library of Alexandria was a renowned institution of learning in ancient Alexandria, Egypt, established in the 3rd century BCE. It was a part of the larger Mouseion, a research institute dedicated to the Muses. The library is famous for its vast collection of scrolls and its role as a center for

scholarship, but it is also shrouded in mystery, particularly regarding its destruction.
