Overview & Key Concepts

Who is William Lane Craig?

William Lane Craig (born 1949) is an American analytic philosopher and Christian theologian. He holds faculty positions at Talbot School of Theology

(Biola University), and Houston Baptist University. Craig has developed and defended the Kalam cosmological argument for the existence of God. He also focused in his published work on a historical argument for the resurrection of Jesus. Craig established and runs the online apologetics ministry ReasonableFaith.org.

What is COVID?

Coronaviruses are a group of viruses that cause diseases in mammals and birds. In humans, coronaviruses cause respiratory tract infections that are

typically mild, such as the common cold, though rarer forms such as SARS, MERS, and COVID-19 can be lethal. Symptoms vary in other species: in chickens, they cause an upper respiratory tract disease, while in cows and pigs they cause diarrhea. There are yet to be vaccines or antiviral drugs to prevent or treat human coronavirus infections.

Who is GOD?

In monotheism and henotheism, God is conceived as the Supreme Being and principal object of faith. The concept of God as described by theologians

commonly includes the attributes of omniscience (infinite knowledge), omnipotence (unlimited power), omnipresence (present everywhere), omnibenevolence (perfect goodness), divine simplicity, and eternal and necessary existence.

In theism, God is the creator and sustainer of the universe

In deism, God is the creator, but not the sustainer, of the universe

Monotheism is the belief in the existence of one God or in the oneness of God

In pantheism, God is the universe itself

In atheism, God is purported not to exist, while deemed unknown or unknowable within the context of agnosticism.
