What is Catholic? The Catholic Church, also known as the Roman Catholic Church. This is the largest Christian church, with approximately 1.3 billion baptised Catholics worldwide, as of 2016. As one of the oldest religious institutions in the world, it has played a prominent role in the history and development of Western civilisation. Who is Robert Barron? Robert Emmet Barron (born 1959) is an American prelate of the Catholic Church. He is an author, theologian and evangelist, known for his Word on Fire ministry. Barron has served as an auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles since 8 September 2015. Previously, he served as Rector of Mundelein Seminary in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago.

Violence is defined by the World Health Organization as "the intentional use of physical force or power, threatened or actual, against oneself, another person, or against a group or community, which either results in or has a high likelihood of resulting in injury, death, psychological harm, maldevelopment, or deprivation".
