Did Jesus pray to God or Allah?

Jesus spoke Aramaic. He would have prayed to 'Allah'

It is common knowledge that Jesus and his disciples primarily spoke ARAMAIC, and Jesus delivered his teachings in the Aramaic language. Aramaic was the language of Judea in 1 AD, most likely a Galilean dialect distinguishable from that of Jerusalem.

Jesus grew up in Galilee and much of his ministry took place there. The towns of Nazareth and Capernaum in Galilee, where Jesus spent most of his time, were ARAMAIC speaking communities.

'Allah' is used in Arabic Bibles
Jews, Christians, and Muslims have used Allah in their citations and translations of the Bible since the first centuries of Islam. Jewish commentators writing in Arabic used Allah in their translations and citations.

Sa´adiah Ga`on b.Joseph, a 9th century Rabbanite translator of the Hebrew into Arabic (using Hebrew characters), used Allah for Elohim 1
He has: "And Elohim [Allah] saw that the light was good"


CONCLUSION: Jesus prayed to 'Allah'
Jesus spoke and taught in the ARAMAIC language. In the Aramaic language, the name for GOD translates to ALLAH.

Most Christians will never read the Aramaic Bible in their lifetime, and so will never know the actual name of God. Jesus prayed and cried out to ALLAH. This was the exact word uttered from the lips of the great Biblical Prophets, like Jesus.

God chose the name ALLAH for Himself. We should all pray to ALLAH and not invent new names in new languages.
