Laith Marouf travels with journalist Zaynab Mayladan, back to her hometown of Aitaroun, right on the border of Lebanon with Occupied Palestine, during the last days of the 15 months “ceasefire” with

the Zionist Colony, and before the war with "Israel" restarted.

The two inspect reconstruction efforts by returning villagers, including the relaunching of the co-op dairy factory, and talk about the issues facing the displaced Lebanese.

It should be noted that since filming this field report at the end of February 2026, the Zionists who entered Aitaroun have been setting on fire, rigging with explosives or bulldozing homes in the past week of the 2nd “ceasefire.”
