Who are Electronic Intifada?The Electronic Intifada (EI) is an online publication covering the Israeli-Palestinian conflict from a Palestinian perspective. It is published by the nonprofit organization the Middle East Cultural and Charitable Society, which is based in Chicago. EI was founded in February 2001 by Ali Abunimah, Arjan El Fassed, Laurie King, and Nigel Parry.

Comparable flood narratives appear in many other cultures, including the biblical Genesis flood narrative, manvantara-sandhya in Hinduism, Deucalion and Pyrrha in Greek mythology, also the Cheyenne, Blackfeet and Puebloan traditions.
