Assalamualaikum, All Praises And Thanks To Allah [SWT]. We Send Blessings And Salute Upon Our Leader Muhammad [SAW] & Upon His Blessed Family & Upon His Beloved Companions.

The people of Madyan were very bad and wicked people. They were worshiping a tree called Al Ayka. Their job was business but they use to cheat and they would not give full measure. They were unfair in their business dealings. On top of that they will tax people who were passing through Madyan. Over and above that they were highway robbers. So Allah SWT send their brother Shu'ayb AS to rectify their condition. He was an Arab Prophet. He was also known as Khateebul Anbiya. He was the speech deliverer of the prophets and messengers. He said ‘O my people! Worship Allah! You have no other God but Him’..." (Qur'an 7:85)"‘…so give full measure and full weight and wrong not men in their things, and do not do mischief on the earth after it has been set in order, that will be better for you, if you are believers. And sit not on every road, threatening, and hindering from the Path of God those who believe in Him and seeking to make it crooked...’" (Qur'an 7:85-86). But they mocked him and they make fun of him. He gave them many advises. They said we don't understand much of what you say. Shua'yb AS was eloquent in speech and he was clear but still they don't understand. why? because they don't want to understand. They asked If you are truthful why don't you make the sky above us to fall on our heads. Then he made a dua... Allah SWT punishes this nation with three different punishments. Allah SWT says go away the people of Madyan from My mercy just as the people of Thamud went away from My mercy. These stories are not to entertain us. These stories are to derive lessons and reflect.
