The relationship between Judaism and Islam is complicated. In principle, Muslims believe that God did reveal the Torah to the Jewish people at Mt. Sinai after their exodus from Egypt. However, because of various contradictions between the Torah and Islamic teaching, it is commonly believed among Muslims that the Torah of the Jewish people has been corrupted and the text not really fully reliable. Islamic apologists often cite Jeremiah 8:8 as confirming the corruption of the Torah by Jewish scribes. This video will offer a Jewish response to this serious charge leveled against us.
