The 'Greater Israel' project is a frequently contentious, right-wing Zionist project linked to settlement expansion and greater land annexation concepts for a Jewish state. The project may include the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea (including the West Bank and Gaza) to biblical, larger borders stretching from the River Nile to the Euphrates.
Imran Nazar Hosein (born 1942) is an Islamic scholar, author and philosopher. He specializing in Islamic eschatology, world politics, economics, and
modern socio-economic/political issues. He is the author of Jerusalem in the Qur'an and other books. Hosein has traveled extensively around the world on Islamic lecture tours since graduating from the Aleemiyah Institute of Islamic Studies in 1971 at age 29. He has written more than a dozen books on Islam.
Yinon Plan refers to an article published in February 1982 in the Hebrew journal Kivunim ("Directions"). The article was entitled 'A Strategy for
Israel in the 1980s'. Kivunim was a quarterly periodical dedicated to the study of Judaism and Zionism which appeared between 1978 and 1987, and was published by the World Zionist Organization's department of Information in Jerusalem. The article was penned by Oded Yinon, reputedly a former advisor to Ariel Sharon, a former senior official with the Israeli Foreign Ministry and journalist for The Jerusalem Post.
