Allah is the Arabic word for God in Abrahamic religions. In the English language, the word generally refers to God in Islam. The word is thought to be derived by contraction from al-ilah, which means 'the god', and is related to El and Elah, the Hebrew and Aramaic words for God. The word Allah has
been used by Arabic people of different religions since pre-Islamic times. More specifically, it has been used as a term for God by Muslims (both Arab and non-Arab) and Arab Christians.
DeenShowTV is viewed internationally reaching millions of viewers on many satellite and cable stations all over the world from Islam Channel, Iqra Tv, Huda Tv, Guide Us Tv, Cantv and more. Since 2006, Deen Show has been working on clearing up misconceptions about Islam, condemning terrorism and at
the same time delivering the simple Message of the "Purpose of life" in a fun and exciting way.
Elohim in the Hebrew Bible refers to deities, and is one of the many names or titles for God in the Hebrew Bible. The word is identical to the plural of el, meaning gods or magistrates, and is used for the pantheon of Canaanite gods, the children of El, and conventionally vocalized as "Elohim". The
notion of divinity underwent radical changes in the early period of Israelite identity and development of Ancient Hebrew religion. The ambiguity of the term elohim is the result of such changes, cast in terms of "vertical translatability", i.e. the re-interpretation of the gods from 7th century BC, Judah to the emergence of monotheist Rabbinical Judaism in the 2 AD.
