He tells the spirit of God moving over the waters, of the creation of all the plants and animals, and of their naming by Adam. He tells of the creation of Eve. Then Adam and Eve disobey God's command and eat the forbidden fruit. For their disobedience, God expels Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden. To the children listening, the story lesson in the danger of disobeying God's will. The storyteller reminds them that Genesis means "The Beginning." And for all mankind, for all the ages, this is just the beginning.
