Slavery is any system in which principles of property law are applied to people. Thus allowing individuals to own, buy and sell other individuals, as a de jure form of property. A slave is unable to withdraw unilaterally from such an arrangement and works without remuneration. Slavery began to exist

Tony Hazard is an author and assistant professor in the Ethnic Studies department. His research and teaching explore the issue of "race" in recent United States history. Hazard earned a PhD in History at Temple University and the BA in African American Studies at Arizona State University. Along with

engaging connections between social and cultural history with the history of anthropology. Hazard approaches U.S. history from transnational and global perspectives.

constitute the third largest racial and ethnic group in the United States (after White Americans and Hispanic and Latino Americans).
What is Slave Bible?
A slave bible is a bible specifically edited to serve for enslaved Christians. They were produced in England in the early 19th century for use in the British West Indies, when they were colonies of the British Empire. What is Debt Slave?
