Athenagoras was a Father of the Church, an Ante-Nicene Christian apologist who was Athenian (though possibly not originally from Athens), a philosopher, and a convert to Christianity. In his writings he styles himself as "Athenagoras, the Athenian, Philosopher, and Christian".
