What is the significance of Prophet Joseph in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam?

Joseph in Judaism
Seen as a patriarch and a divinely inspired interpreter of dreams whose story teaches ultimate faith in God's providence. He is not categorized as one of the traditional national prophets.

Joseph in Christianity
Honored as a patriarch whose life is viewed as a "type" or shadow of Christ - he was betrayed by his brothers, elevated to a position of savior of his people, and ultimately forgave those who wronged him.

Joseph in Islam
Regarded as a beloved and noble prophet. The Quran dedicates its 12th chapter (Surah Yusuf) entirely to his life, praising his unwavering faith, righteousness, and ability to interpret dreams.
