Video Description (from Youtube)
Bart D. Ehrman was guest on North Carolina Bookwatch hosted by D.G. Martin. The program that was aired on WHYY 08/29/2004, to discuss his book that had been recently released at that time called, "Lost Christianities: The Battles for Scripture and the Faiths We Never Knew" [Episode: 239]. In Lost Christianities and the program, Bart D. Ehrman offers a fascinating look at these early forms of Christianity and shows how they came to be suppressed, reformed, or forgotten. All of these groups insisted that they upheld the teachings of Jesus and his apostles, and they all possessed writings that bore out their claims, books reputedly produced by Jesus's own followers.

D. G. Martin is the host of UNC-TV’s “North Carolina Bookwatch,” who served in the U.S. Army’s Special Forces, a retired lawyer, politician, and university administrator.
