Video Description (from Youtube)
If we look at the state of the Arab Muslim world, we can recognize its tardiness in it progress along many lines of development. In its lack thereof in the production of knowledge. In its almost non-existent invention, and in its minimal investment in human capital. In the fairly elementary industries this world identifies as state of the art.

And this is all in association with a status where these Arab Muslim nations are reliant on the developed nations, both Western, Eastern and also Muslim yet not Arab, for many of their necessities. Education, technology, transportation and so on are all aspects and identifiers of economic power and influence yet none of which are produced in the Arab Muslim world or are found to be on the rise

One crippling factor has been the outlawing of reason and the Islamic demand that the intellect must be pushed to its utmost capacity, to think, to analyse and to transcend any current knowledge. Strangely enough, such an outlawing has come at the hands of conservative scholars who imprison Arab Muslims with strict thoughts of the hereafter only to ignore the worldly life.

This video speaks of the challenges that confront Arab Muslims in breaking away from this medieval thought process that is still holding back the true potential of this people.
