Pope Francis attends an ecumenical prayer service and interreligious ceremony for peace in Rome on Tuesday, October 20.

Following the prayer service held at the Basilica of Santa Maria in Ara Coeli, an interreligious ceremony will take place and include speeches, the proclamation and delivery of the 2020 Appeal for Peace, the lighting of a peace candle, and a socially distanced rite of peace.
