In 325 AD at the Council of Nicaea the Roman Emperor Constantine gathered a large assembly in order to attain consensus in the Church and form a standardized doctrine of Christianity. Eventually

based on this Nicene Creed, four Gospels that now form the essence of the New Testament were selected to be part of the Bible, and all other gospels and manuscripts that didn't support the Nicene creed were subsequently destroyed and their knowledge forever lost in history.

Three centuries later, an unlettered shepherd in a far away land of Arabia by the name of Muhammad (peace be upon him) started narrating unknown stories about Jesus (peace be upon him) and his miracles of speaking from the cradle as a baby and blowing life into clay birds: stories that are not found in any of the four Gospels of the New Testament.

For centuries these stories were known only to be stories found in the Qur'an, until the late 19th Century, when an unprecedented discovery of the lost Gospel of St. Thomas that dated back to the 4th Century (200 years before the coming of Islam) mentions these very stories that Muhammad (peace be upon him) spoke about!

Who is Yasir Qadhi? Yasir Qadhi is an American Muslim scholar and writer of Pakistani descent. Since 2001, he has served as Dean of Academic Affairs at the Al-Maghrib Institute, an international Islamic educational institution with a center in Houston, Texas. He also teaches in the Religious Studies department at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, where he resides. Qadhi has written numerous books and lectured widely on Islam and contemporary Muslim issues. A 2011 The New York Times Magazine essay by Andea Elliott described Qadhi as "one of the most influential conservative clerics in American Islam."
What is Gospel? Gospel is the Old English translation of Greek evangelion, meaning "good news". It originally meant the Christian message itself, but in the 2nd century it came to be used for the books in which the message was set out. The four gospels of the New Testament: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are the main source of information on the life of Jesus.

The most probable date for its composition is around 80-110 AD, and there is evidence that it was still being revised well into the 2nd century.
What is Gospel Mark? Gospel According to Mark, or Mark is one of the four canonical gospels and one of the three synoptic gospels. It tells of the ministry of Jesus from his baptism by John the Baptist to his death and burial and the discovery of the empty tomb - there is no genealogy of Jesus or birth narrative, nor in the original ending at chapter 16, any post-resurrection appearances. It portrays Jesus as a heroic man of action, an exorcist, a healer, and a miracle worker. Jesus is also the Son of God, but he keeps his identity secret concealing it in parables so that even the disciples fail to understand. Mark probably dates from 66-70 AD.
