On a clear day, this high-altitude mountain ledge offers an expansive, sweeping view across the deep Jordan River Valley, the northern basin of the Dead Sea, and the distant hills of the West Bank. The stone walls visible in the lower left corner belong to the archaeological remnants surrounding the Memorial Church of Moses.

Spread across the slopes directly in front of the complex walls is a vast historical Muslim cemetery, where pilgrims and local families have sought burial for centuries due to the holy nature of the site.
