Prophet Moses - Tomb of Moses and his companions, Israel.
The image shows an aerial view of Nabi Musa (the Tomb of Prophet Moses), a large, historic multi-domed sanctuary complex located in the Judean Desert wilderness, just south of the main road connecting Jerusalem and Jericho in the West Bank.Built primarily during the Mamluk period under Sultan Baybars in the 13th century, this fortified stone compound functions both as a mosque and a caravanserai. It marks the traditional Islamic location for the final resting place of Moses (Musa). Spread across the slopes directly in front of the complex walls is a vast historical Muslim cemetery, where pilgrims and local families have sought burial for centuries due to the holy nature of the site.
