God commanded Jonah to go to Nineveh, a great city filled with wickedness, and warn its people of coming judgment. But Jonah refused. Instead of obeying God, he boarded a ship sailing in the opposite direction. Then a violent storm struck the sea, threatening to destroy everyone on board. When the sailors discovered that Jonah was the reason for the storm, they threw him into the raging waters. But God had prepared something extraordinary. A great fish swallowed Jonah whole, and for three days and three nights, he remained alive inside its belly.

Watch the full story from the Book of Jonah, told in 3D animation. Follow Jonah's attempt to escape God's calling, the terrifying storm at sea, his miraculous survival inside the great fish, and his journey to Nineveh. Witness an entire city turn from its wicked ways, and discover why Jonah struggled to accept God's mercy toward the very people he wanted to see punished.

πŸ“– The Book of Jonah is one of the most remarkable stories in the Old Testament. But it is about much more than a man swallowed by a giant fish. It is a story of disobedience, repentance, forgiveness, and God's compassion for those who turn to Him. Jesus Himself referred to Jonah's three days and three nights inside the fish as a sign pointing toward His own death and resurrection (Matthew 12:40). Jonah's story reminds us that no one can outrun God, and that His mercy reaches further than we can imagine.
