Islam teaches that Jesus was a Muslim Prophet of God
Although, Jesus was a Jewish prophet, he preached the worship of one God (or 'the Father'). This belief 'in-essence' made him a Muslim, or one who submitted to God.| 1. One God |

| It is known that Jesus himself was a Jew who worshiped the Jewish God, kept Jewish customs, interpreted the Jewish law, and acquired Jewish disciples, who accepted him as the Jewish messiah. Swine meat consumption is strictly forbidden under Jewish law.

| It is known that Jesus himself was a Jew who worshiped the Jewish God, kept Jewish customs, interpreted the Jewish law, and acquired Jewish disciples, who accepted him as the Jewish messiah. Alcohol/intoxicant consumption is strictly forbidden under Jewish law.

| This can be evidenced from numerous images, paintings and depictions of Jesus Christ in Christian churches today and other literature.
