A Prophet is a person who is assigned a mission by God to guide mankind to Monotheism, the worship of one God.

A prophet would receive Gods word through revelations, prophecies and commandments and convey the message to their people. Muslims must believe in, honour and respect all prophets:

  • 0 prophets specifically mentioned in the Quran;
  • Prophets mentioned in scripture, such as the Old Testament etc.
  • And the 10,000's of 'unknown' prophets we have no information about
