What is the significance of Prophet Abraham in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam?

Judaism

Abraham is the primary patriarch of the Jewish people and the foundational recipient of God's covenant. Judaism honors him as the first to recognize monotheism and the father of the nation of Israel.

Christianity

Christians revere Abraham as the ultimate archetype of faith and righteousness. He is celebrated as the spiritual father of all believers, showing that salvation comes through faith in God's promises.

Islam

Islam recognizes Ibrahim as one of the greatest prophets, the builder of the Kaaba, and the primordial preacher of pure monotheism. The Quran famously states that he was a Hanif (a person of pure faith) and that his true legacy is the foundation of the faith practiced by Muslims.
